Our new Head Chef Wayne Barnard has had the pleasure of working alongside some fantastic world renowned chefs and within some amazing restaurant teams during his STAGES of work experience; Michel Roux Jr and his team at Le Gavroche, Marcus Wareing at the Berkley, Tom Kerridge at the Hand and Flowers, Raymond Blanc OBE at Le Manoir and Marco Pierre White in Luciano/Wheeler’s of St.James’ London.

He was a semi finalist in the National Chef of Wales competition in 2019 and is a finalist in the National Chef of Wales 2020.

He follows our passion at The Plan for local suppliers by sourcing all his own produce, even visiting off-site to ensure the quality is what he wants for the kitchen.

Wayne is backed up by Assistant Chef Gareth who has over 10 years experience working at The Plan, and knows the kitchen inside out and will supply Wayne with key inside knowledge to ensure the food coming from The Plan is better than ever.
